Meet The Founder

Arkitia Pegram-Crawley, LPC
Arkitia Pegram-Crawley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and is a Norfolk State University ’08 alumni with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.  She graduated with her Master of Professional Counseling from South University in 2014.  Arkitia has provided mental health services to the military and college populations. Currently, Arkitia provides mental health counseling and support to those with a history of trauma, anxiety, depression, difficulty with adjusting to change, and relationship distress.
 
Arkitia is an experienced trauma therapist of color dedicated to providing empathetic and culturally sensitive mental health support. Specializing in trauma-informed care, she offers a safe space for individuals to explore and heal from their past experiences. Grounded in diverse therapeutic approaches, she is committed to understanding and respecting the unique cultural contexts that shape clients' lives.
Arkitia’s goals are to foster a collaborative therapeutic relationship, empowering clients to navigate their healing journey with strength and resilience. Arkitia’s end goal for her clients is for them to live their best lives and move forward from surviving to thriving.

Arkitia also provides clinical supervision to Residents in Counseling who are pursuing their licensure in the state of Virginia. She also conducts workshops in the community to educate the public and to dispel the stigma associated with mental health.  In addition, she provides business consulting services to fellow clinicians aspiring to open their own practice.
